The Islanders Hot Club
This lively ensemble plays music in the style of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club de France. They do not limit themselves to the Django songbook and jazz standards; their repertoire is inspired by traditional French gypsy, swing, musette and even Bach and the Beatles.
Clinics are run by fully bilingual bassist Tim Croft. Tim is an experienced educator with years of work as an elementary and high school music teacher. He also spent two years with the Victoria Conservatory of Music as an early childhood music teacher. He has led clinics to audiences of all ages.
During school concerts, students are taught rhythms and are encouraged to accompany the musicians during the performance. Course packs are also available free of charge to teachers wishing to educate their students about the rich dramatic history of Django Reinhardt and his music.

Concerts and clinics at your school.
The musicians are also available to coach individual students and/or school ensembles.
Le Hot Club des Insulaires
Cet ensemble dynamique joue de la musique manouche dans le style de Django Reinhardt et le Hot Club de France. Il ne se limite pas au repertoire de Django et des standards de jazz; son repertoire est inspire par la musique de gitans, le swing, la musette et même Bach et les Beatles.
Durant les concerts d’école. les élèves sont enseignes des rythmes et sont encourages a accompagner les musiciens. Des plans de leçon sont aussi disponibles aux professeurs intéressés a apprendre a leurs élèves l'histoire riche et dramatique de Django Reinhardt et sa musique manouche.
